Mixed Bed

In mixed-bed deionizers the cation-exchange and anion-exchange resins are mixed and contained in a pressure vessel. Mixed-bed deionizers are normally used to ‘polish’ the water to higher levels of purity after it has been initially treated by either a two-bed deionizer or a reverse osmosis unit.

we have the full range of mixed bed units.

  • Typically used to ‘polish' the water after it has been pre-treated by either a reverse osmosis or a two-bed deionizer
  • As water flows through the resin bed, all charged ions are removed and exchanged for H+ and OHions
  • This ion exchange process is repeated many times which polishes the water to a very high purity level
  • When the resin’s capacity is exhausted, it’s replaced by a new one

  • Control Valve (Manual)
  • Vessel (Structural – Pentair water)
  • Filtration Media -Mixed bed Resin(Ion-Exchange)

  • Handy manual valves
  • Leak proof
  • Low Maintenance
  • Higher water purity than distilled water
  • Efficient, Quick and Easy to use
  • No scale build-up

  • Production of drinking water
  • Polishing of reverse osmosis permeate
  • Polishing of sea water distillate
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Electroplating
  • High Pressure Boilers
  • Laboratories & R&D Centres
